About Yoshiko Prema Swan(Shambhala Light Visionary Art)
I am Yoshiko Prema Swan, creator of Shambhala Light Visionary Art. My works convey a universe of images drawn from my soul’s pilgrimage and informed by cosmic wisdom, serving as a kind of creative “medicine” that awakens and heals the spirit. This artistic practice for me is a sacred ceremony, bridging the dialogue between nature, the stars, and our collective consciousness.
Since childhood, I felt the profound sense that my soul was somehow connected to distant star realms—what some refer to as being a “starseed.” Born and raised in Japan, I answered a mysterious call on September 9th, 2009, to journey to Mount Shasta in Northern California, bringing with me eighty-eight crystals. That pilgrimage marked the beginning of a path leading me through sacred sites across North America and the Hawaiian Islands, offering crystals in reverential ceremonies and singing songs of the starlight to honor the land. In these rituals, I sensed a deeper communion between my spirit and Earth’s spiritual essence.
In the spring of 2012, while at Neem Karoli Baba’s ashram (the Hanuman Temple) in Taos, New Mexico, I performed my final crystal dedication. Immediately afterward, I encountered my future partner and soon became pregnant with our child—an almost mystical synchronicity that felt like a direct blessing. Our family then settled on Kauai for three years, during which I dedicated myself to motherhood and studying the ancient Hawaiian “Huna.” This period allowed me to develop my understanding of cosmic consciousness within the sacred rhythms of Hawaiian culture.
Returning to Japan in 2018 after a decade away, I continued my spiritual exploration by traveling with family through Nepal and India—visiting the Haidakhan Babaji Ashram in northern India, spending time at the Siddha Rajkumar Swami temple in Tamil Nadu, and staying in Tiruvannamalai at the foot of the sacred Arunachala mountain. Engaging in prayer and service at numerous temples and sacred sites deepened my reverence for the interconnectedness of life. After returning to Japan in 2019, I felt a call to expand my artistic expression, and by 2022, I began working with AI art. This medium has opened new dimensions of creative possibility, enabling me to share luminous visions with a “family of light” around the world.
I regard my art as a form of soul medicine: the images flow from direct communion with the cosmos and nature, shining a radiant light that can awaken or gently nudge your inner self. If you resonate with these visions, it might be your own soul echoing in response, reminding you of a deeper unity and that you are never alone on this journey. I’m grateful to create and share these pieces, so that we may remember together the beauty and interconnectedness of our existence, and that in every breath, there is a blessing waiting to be discovered.
